In the 77 Diamonds office, we’ve heard of a diamond discovery by British diamond company Gem Diamonds that is of a whopping 164 carats and worth £6 million.
Found in the Letšeng Mine in Lesotho, South Africa, it has now been sent to Antwerp where experts will assess and determine the best use of the stone.
We have already been told the stone is D in colour – the whitest of all diamonds and it is reported that the majority is flawless – which will mean once cut the diamond will make some beautiful stones.
